there is a meeting/
of what the future/
has brought/

lessons in time/
reflections of past/
truth in memories/
sufferings intense/
and joys unforgot/

there is/
hope in the New Year/
of what we planned/
for our futures/
in thought/

so speed forward/
never give up hope/
if you want change/
bring it and sing it/
your refrain has wrought/

across the widened gulf/
of meeting the other/
undisclosed surprise/
of the applied/
learnings you've got/.
