Just When We Start to Wonder

(a poem of undying love)

when often times

we look at the night sky

unhampered by urban lights

we see all the many stars

when we are walking along

the beach

or on a snowy path,

we are often unaware

of the great multitudes

that there is a uniqueness

in every flake of snow

or grain of sand

or a twinkling star!

So it is with our love

it fills us with wonder

and happy songs

and thankfulness to God

who is the author of love

and in your caring love

my sweet love, is the mightiest

of all Nature's demonstrations

of a caring love

of a doting love

a compassionate love

and an extraordinary love!

so just when we start to wonder

every day and in every way

our love schools us

and brings its happy uniqueness

to every day we awaken, and find

it again and again

saying: "I love You"

recreates a dutiful sense

and an ecstatic pleasure;

for when we show each other

our undying love

it is wonder-full.

waves crashing the beach

warm sunbeams

birds sound overhead

in a shell

held up to an ear

eager and expectant

smiling nature

a path of delight

to the expanse of galaxies

near and distant

warm or cold

a tide of human exploration

there is only the silence

of space

sought for hope

gathered in an embrace

enchantress, your eyes

catch me in moonlight

gentle orb

dancing there

sweet boundless moves

love is in the air

they flutter

bending me into

other dimensions

of divine light

eyelids blinking

wide awake in Night

the gentle rapture

of passion's drawing

song; sings heavenly

movements of power

where from afar

I know not the hour

I dared to look

into your Divine Soul

I am your sacred viewer

and saw your all

as your steps lit

the sacred hall

some say they were

smitten by a dancing

kitten; made perfect

in love hypnotized

not realizing your Greatness

had already mesmerized

I remember; your look

while your body below

contorted; in Divine

dancing soul

candle light romancing

glow; lit my heart whole

until I knew

all was undone

and uncovered

I cannot bear this alone

my love's secret

is in your dancing home.

your songs fill the air
with wonderful
feelings never felt
before;

no, not anywhere

except in Heaven
where your choirs
assemble
admiring the sounds
escaping your lips

beautiful wafting
currents of melody
exalt the spirits
lifting up blissful
moments there

passion
and love
dancing in firelight
reflections of moon
on the beach
where flames of love
light up the night

eyes of lovers
swoon

graceful steps
on the ballroom floor

majestic fountains
of forever youth
whenever our special songs
fill the air

fluttering rosy airships
sweet words of love

bring me home
on their wings to you

sweet calls of love
guide me home
even when the darkness
shuts out the heart

I grope
to find my way
but in the distance
the love songs
guide me back
to the wonders of love

somehow love singers
reach through darkest night
bringing hope
in their golden
notes of soothing
white light

for there
in the lingering notes
I come to you

where in the sweet
sounds of your soul
I am warmed
loved
and never alone.

dancing Siren
waves of passion
grew in the symphony of our love

ebbing and bending
coming and going

you called me to the shores of your love
to the light and the sounds
of many waves
collapsing
quantum foam

I need only surrender
to your beckonings
to enjoy
your eternal love

your moves hypnotize
while the sound of the waves
bring trancelike bliss

your presence
follows me as I wander
the dunes

and tomorrow
never comes
in your passion's kiss

I am found
a man in disarray
wild eyed
but a smile on my lips.

caressing You
in the moonlit night
my incense
offering rose from
the altars
addressing you

there was only
a sacred word
binding us to
each other

dancing in the firelight
the logs crackled
but still gave out heat

burning coals
on my lips
you were the night's
fire

sweet sounds
of music
sounded afar off
but drew near
in your kisses
a symphony
I did hear

and when the morning
arose from the mist
the seashore
beckoned

goddess there

existing

in flight

brought to Earth

in shining light

gentle breeze

fragrance sweet

turning to see

I saw a glimpse

at second sight

speeding

through space

and time

my eyes cannot

focus

to understand

revelations

of you

my heart

seeks you

in a love

that is not hollow

but full

and living

yet I cannot follow

waiting for you

to swim in you

join in your stream

I awoke

bathed in the sun

at the beach

I thought a dream

but I see you

beckoning

I want to meet you

there will

be a reckoning

gentle rose fragrance

goddess gowns

dance in soft caress

midnight romance

her smile

said to approach

her

I moved quickly

it might be the only

and last chance

sweet Chinese eyes

lapped in starlight

shone in her love

she sighed

and the waves crashed

her gown flapped

in the breeze

I beheld her beauty

I turned to kiss her

and it was your smile that met

my lips.
