shrine of the goddess (poem)

In the distance
a foggy shroud
I see
a mountain path
climbing to an essence
lost in a fog
the path winds
upward, like
a foothold into
an existential abyss
There, the preponderance
of the evident
is lost to all my senses
but the beauty
lingers like a lasting impression
of Her, in the mist
is She that dwells
in the shrine
of the goddess.
