Space and Time (moments we exist in) (new poem)

Space and Time (moments we exist in)

by Tim Kavi

it was in

that I first noticed out

the startling recognition

of the face that was not mine

it was You

but was it You

my mother?

or the harsh blows

of existence?

the wind tousled

my hair at birth

a cosmic wind

of unfulfilled purpose

and shaken perceptions

the birth

of all that is

unconscious meanderings

made manifest

in dialogical pleadings

of wondering

wandering minstrels

playing something

that moves in and out

on cave walls of shadows

unknown objects

in this space and time

my unconscious

is not found in space

but in art full sayings sublime?

there is the way made

plain, but overgrown paths

to mountains of ecstatic

loss; of self and mind

brought back from the abyss

where some have tried to hurt

and plagues bury us

in the earthy dirt

there it is You (my love)

again, You and I

I and You

your ideas changed

me and my world

into colors on a canvas

images on a flickering screen

words upon a page

hate transcended by love

for any and all to see

ideas transmitted

forms and will

energized noumena

dialectical moments

expressed upon my time

across the fleeting

historical space

(I again find your tesseracted face).

geometry of places spun (new poem)

by creative artist Will Segerman

geometry of places spun
by Tim Kavi

above me
lies a returning circle
recurrent again
bringing me to the traverse
same path; timelines bend

below a line
there's a place
flatter than flatland
we exist as
miracles of grace

we move our beings
through space and time
alive and glimmering
where reality as we know it

are mere markings
for on the cave wall
are shadows dancing
in the firelight
of some grand figures tall

nothing else is seen
in the ghostly memories
of reality's soft sheen
there seems only what some
say it is
the land of dreams

and if the rest
my eyes could see
in some kiss or embrace
a devotion of the familiar
in some previously
forgotten place

so that when
the sun goes down
they tell me
tomorrow I am the same
I will not believe them
although I have the name

so that when
they tell me, that tomorrow
whenever, however it's done
will surely advisedly
always come

let me make sure
the world is not lying
to my senses
let me touch the appearing
warping gates
in the wall's defenses

but You are not there
my hand passing through it
the implements extended
I cannot grasp them
but I know something
was there; existent

collapsing space time
offers no regret
in the death
of memorable times spent
and yet

tomorrow I do awaken
it is another place
another life
and I and everyone
are different
so very different

some said forsaken
bought and bruised
reality's wave riders
forgotten and abused
but those beliefs do fade
in freedom's choosing gliders

fallen and shaken
fallible; yet rising again
there is only You and Me
to form them
in reality's contemplation

so be careful
when you imagine what is true
for tomorrow you might discover
that it was only You.

presence (reposted poem) to all my friends: new and old

presence (a repost)
(to all my friends, new and old, especially the new ones)
by Tim Kavi

dancing beings
find each other
across many
lifetimes again
and again

why do they
find each other
sharpen each other
recoqnize each other
at such a time as then?

some flee again
as in great flight
some struggle
potential clashes
in a great fight

others turn softly
yet in might
urgency

heart to heart
there is a turning
a yearning
to know all
about the One

that you see
for the first time
there is a calling
to know

a setting sun
in the glance
of smiles
as the night
of mystery is begun

revealing
each other
taught by experience
what this life
might be

but when
the seeking ones
find each other
there is a shining oneness

that lights
the unconscious
night
shadows play
until real is seen

and at last
in dialogical meeting
a You is glimpsed

a Holy Presence
You are the
chrysalis emerged

in the glistening
mutual love
of You and me.

"Woman's Eyes" (short poem)

"Woman's Eyes"
by Tim Kavi

eyes of the enchantress
others must answer in truth

eyes of a goddess
lit up by love's mercy
kindness and compassion

who can help but be
touched
and moved

to respond in dialogue
with open arms
to say I and Thou!

Poet's Suggestion:  IF you liked this poem, I also penned another special poem about a woman and her pretty eyes-- 'Soft Eyes'-- Click Here to view it.
